"When most people think about Animal Welfare, they think adopting animals & saving them from euthanasia in overcrowded shelters. Fort Wayne Pet Food Pantry is an organization that brings this full circle. I discovered FWPFP at a "Get On Board" event, where I joined the Board a few years ago. I resonate strongly with the mission of "keeping pets at home with their families"; pets are members of our family & FWPFP not only provides food for animals but creates relationships with our clients to give them a safe space to come without judgment. I am proud to be a part of this organization that treats each person and pet with respect and dignity. No pet should be separated from their family for lack of food resources & FWPFP fills a resource gap in our community that is so needed."
